The unfinished task of proclaiming Islamic theology and Qur'anic revelation challenges us all. In order to do justice to this calling, this study intends to devote a thorough description of Islamic theology, such as the theology of religion, the theology of the unity of God, the theology of the word and the theology of the heart, and through these themes to make known the experience of God's presence. The ideas presented here – although they have emerged from lectures and lectures to different audiences and on different occasions – represent an inner unity. The unity is based on the fact that the central aspects of Islamic faith, thought and Islamic ontotheology are consistently discussed under differentiated starting points. This applies in particular to the area of the "experience of existence, being with and perceiving the presence of God", the "Revelation authority of the Prophet Mohammad(s)" and the "guidance vocation of the Imams", i.e. for the philosophy of life and theology of life, which currently have to be taken into account and dealt with in a special way.
